Proposals Requested for Supply of the necessary materials, tools, and all of the equipment and labor necessary, and all utilities and transportation services required to be performed and completed in workmanlike manner all of the work shown in accordance with drawings, specifications, and other contract documents prepared by the City of Alpena. Available date September 15 , 2023 Performance Bond: A bond satisfactory to the City 100% of the Labor and Material Payment Bond: A bond satisfactory 100% The bond shall be in an amount equal to 100% of the price specified in the contract. The City of Alpena may conduct a site visit to tour and inspect the bidder s facilities. The City of Alpena will schedule these visits, if required. If awarded the contract, the Undersigned shall start work on the project within ten (10) days or on an agreed upon date after the receipt of the executed contract, which shall serve as the notice to proceed, and shall complete all work described in the contract by December 31, 2023. Five Hundred ($500) dollars per day will be deducted from monies due the Contractor for each calendar day, exclusive of Sundays and holidays, that the work remains uncompleted beyond the completion date. The City reserves the right not to award a contract to any individual, organization, contractor, or subcontractor who has filed any lawsuits or requested arbitration with regard to construction contracts within 5 years prior to the bid.
