New construction of a multi-residential development in Buffalo, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a multi-residential development.

The scope includes but is not limited to demolition of 24 existing 2-3 story vacant public housing buildings and related utility infrastructure and construction of new site utility infrastructure, curbs, sidewalks, hardscape and landscape and development of 405 new rental dwellings across 27 buildings with associated common recreational, amenity and retail spaces. Plans include 3 mixed-use, 5-story buildings and 24 2-3 story townhouse and stacked-flat buildings. Projects documents include but are not limited to: concrete, masonry, structural steel framing, steel decking, misc metals, rough and finish carpentry labor and material, wood trusses, plastic paneling, thermal and moisture protection, asphalt shingles, metal wall panels, siding, roofing, doors, frames and hardware, access doors and frames, aluminum storefronts, plastic windows, glazing, flooring, acoustical panel ceilings, painting, signage, toilet, bath and laundry accessories, emergency key cabinets, fire protection specialties, postal specialties, storage cabinets, wardrobe and closet specialties, residential appliances, play field equipment and structures, facility waste compactors, window treatments, residential casework & countertops, entrance floor mats and frames, bicycle racks, electric traction elevators, trash chutes, fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, communications, electronic safety and security, earthwork to include: site clearing earth moving, erosion control, exterior improvements to include: asphalt concrete paving, concrete pavement, playground protective surfacing, fences and gates, site furnishings, top soil, turf and grasses, planting and Utilities to include: precast manhole, site water distribution piping, site waste utility sewerage piping, storm utility drainage piping, final cleaning and sanitary facilities. Participation of all Veterans, S/W/MBE Certified Businesses is encouraged. Project is Tax Exempt. Wage Rate Project. Project addresses are: 339 Perry Street and 448 South Park, Buffalo, NY 14204 As of February 26, 2024, a general contractor has been selected. Sub bids have been let. Construction is anticipated to begin March 25, 2024.
