Demolition, site work, remodeling and renovation of a military facility in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a military facility.
The objective of this Scope of Work (SOW) is to plan and complete the removal of B-37 and its ancillary structures at JSC. See paragraph 3.5 for a list of facilities to be demolished. All elements of B-37 are to be demolished (except the Radiation Counting Lab) as noted in Project Specification 01 01 90.00 80 Project Description. The project shall include, but is not limited to, pre-demolition assessment, disconnect and capping of utilities where needed, removal of any pole mounted transformers, diversion and/or disposal of all debris materials, and restoration of the site to a specified condition. Option-1 requires that the concrete pavement apron around B-37 be crushed to gravel size suitable for use as a walkway surface. Following demolition, the Contractor shall be responsible for restoring all work sites with respect to grading and proper drainage as described in project specifications. But not limited to please review the specifications for more information. Magnitude of Construction: $5M - $10M Prevailing Wages Apply. Contract duration = 200 calendar days
