Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a playground / park / athletic field.
The project includes approximately 3,200 linear feet oftrail improvements, replacement ofthe basketball court, and other site improvements at Tilles Park located in Fort Smith, Arkansas. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. All bidders must be licensed under the terms ofAct 150 ofthe 1965 Acts ofthe Arkansas Legislature, including subsequent amendments, and considered by the Arkansas Contractors Licensing Board to be classified as a General Contractor for the classification required to perform the work identified as part ofthe project. The City ofFort Smith encourages participation ofsmall, minority, and woman owned business enterprises in the procurement ofgoods, services, and construction, either as a General Contractor or Subcontractor. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date ofthe opening thereof. The City ofFort Smith is an Equal Opportunity Employer Male/Female. Every request for such interpretation should be in writing addressed to the DIRECTOR OF PARKS & RECREATION DEPARTMENT for the CITY OF FORT SMITH, ARKANSAS, and to be given consideration must be received at least five days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids
