The deadline to ask questions is 10/26/2023 5:00 PM CST The City of Sachse invites the submittal of statements of qualifications (SOQ) in order to select a professional service contract for the design and construction of the proposed street projects associated with the 2021 Bond Election. The proposed projects are: Sachse Road (Phase 2) from Miles Road to Merritt Road; Sachse Road (Phase 3) from Merritt Road to Country Cub Drive; Williford Road from SH 78 to Bailey Road; West Creek Lane from Sachse Road to south of Timbercreek Court; and various Neighborhood Reconstruction Packages. The anticipated scope of services for this project shall include (but not be limited to) route studies and schematic design, minor bridge layouts, minor roadway design, routine bridge inspection, traffic engineering studies, traffic signal timing, street and pedestrian illumination design, traffic signal design, bicycle and pedestrian facility design, storm water analysis and design, boundary and topographic surveys, environmental analysis and design, right of way acquisition support, easement acquisition support, geotechnical exploration and design, subsurface utility exploration, pavement design, water design, sanitary sewer design, construction phase assistance, and any potential federal and/or state environmental permits.
