Pavement Rehabilitation, Mill and Inlay, and Safety Improvements From Milepost 93.8 to Milepost 109.3 N/s. This specification covers the requirements for the addition of crushed glass to hot mix asphalt mixtures. The provisions of Section 402 - Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) Pavements applies except that the Contractor has the option of blending of the crushed glass in the following mixes. 1 1/2 inch Nominal Max. Size 1 inch Nominal Max. Size 3/4 inch Nominal Max. Size Truing and Leveling Course Bid Bond or a Bid Deposit. A Bid Bond must be in the amount of 5% of the total bid and must be on the Authority's Bid Bond Form (TA-44117) which is included in the Proposal. A Bid Deposit must be a certified check or cashier's check made payable to the New York State Thruway Authority in the amount of $750,000.00. Whenever the Contractor receives direction from the NYSDOT regarding the approval/rejection of material that direction constitutes direction by the Authority under the contract and, shall be final and accepted as such by the Contractor.
