The Owner, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title. 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Sub- title A, Office the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full op- portunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be dis- criminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin, sex, age and disability/handicap in consideration for an award. the Engineer's Conference Room for furnishing all equipment, labor, materials and ap- purtenances required to construct a new subdivision with 15 residential lots and 1 commercial lot. Proposed improvements include new 8" water and sewer, 6" concrete paving, inte- gral curb and overlot grading. The Owner has included a Bid Alternate to deduct sections of concrete paving and install road gravel. Project is re- ferred to as WEST SUBDIVISION. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids; and to waive irregularities or informalities to accept the BID it deems most beneficial. Bids received after the specified time of closing will be returned unopened. The Owner will accept only those sealed bids, either hand delivered or received via U.S. Mail or other com- mercial carrier. Items transmitted by facsimile or electronically will not be accepted. The Contract Documents may be examined at the following locations: Miller & Associates, 1111 Central Avenue, Kearney, NE 68847 Village of Hampton, 126 North 3rd Street, Hampton, NE 68843. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be directed to Engineer.
