Reference Number 0000330524 Platte River Power Authority ("Platte River") seeks a qualified electrical transmission line contractor to construct approximately a 3/4 mile 230kV double circuit steel monopole line extension into Severance Substation. The construction will also include removing two lattice towers and replacing them with three steel monopole structures. One structure will be used to transpose the north and south circuit of the existing transmission line. Construction will be split into two phases; The first phase will be to transpose the line and energize up to the final structure. This phase is estimated to be completed in May 2024, with start of construction being late January 2024. The second phase of the project would require re-mobilization to the site to string in the final stretch of the line into the substation. This phase will begin once substation construction is complete, which is estimated to be in late August 2024.
