Site work for a water / sewer project in Havre de Grace, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Havre de Grace seeks competitive sealed proposals for the construction of approximately 8,250 (eight thousand two hundred fifty) linear feet of new 16-inch water main, associated appurtances including but not limited to valves, tees, reducers and crosses, replacement of 1" water services connect to existing water mains, continuity test stations tracer wire, paving and restoration of all disturbed surfaces. The project is located on Route 155, North Juniata, Warren Street, and St John Street as shown on the Drawings. The new Waterline shall begin at the Water Treatment Plant and connect to the Graceview Tank. The existing 8" water line shall be disconnected from the system and left in place. The Contractor shall follow design documents as prepared by the Engineer professional, Stephen Gorski, PE. Project Cost Class D - $1,000,000 to $2,500,000 Final Date to Submit Questions: October 19, 2023 Expected Date of Award: November 9, 2023 Required ten (10) percent of the bid in the form of a certified or bank cashier's check Bonding Requirement: Performance, Payment Required 100% Contract Value Maintenance Bond Required 5% Contract Value The City will not hold a public Bid Opening. All parties will receive a copy of the Bid Tabulation via email. All bids are confidential until after the final award, at which time inspection by others can be requested in writing under the Maryland Public Information Act.
