Renovation of an educational facility in Hazlehurst, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, taxes, insurance, fuels, permits, retirement of utilities, and any and all other items necessary to complete the work and disposal of materials and related work, as specified herein. Contractor shall complete all work (demolition, installation, and site cleanup). 2. Investigation of Conditions: Before submitting a bid, Bidders should carefully examine the specifications and visit the site to fully understand the scope of work. HCSD is committed to continue in its work to keep the Districts facilities updated and operating in an efficient manner. The proposed services will require certified, licensed contractors to execute the project and to assure that all work is conducted according the laws, regulations codes that govern our State Department of Education, building codes, mechanical codes and the Mississippi Contractors Board. Location of Project: 101 S. Hazlehurst City School District shall select lowest and best bidder. HCSD reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals and to waive irregularities and informalities in the submittal and evaluation process. This solicitation for Construction Services does not obligate HCSD to pay any costs incurred by respondents in the preparation and submission of a Proposal. HCSD is committed to continue in its work to keep the Districts facilities updated and operating in an efficient manner. The proposed services will require certified, licensed contractors to execute the project and to assure that all work is conducted according the laws, regulations codes that govern our State Department of Education, building codes, mechanical codes and the Mississippi Contractors Board. The project is summarized as follows: SCOPE OF WORK 1. Pre-Installation Assessment: Conduct an initial assessment of the HVAC system to determine the appropriate type and capacity of ionization technology required. 2. Equipment Service: Clean, service, replace belts as needed, replace all filters, clean coils on all equipment no replaced. 3. Installation Planning: Develop a comprehensive installation plan, including the positioning and configuration of ionization devices. Coordinate with the client to minimize disruption to building occupants during installation. 4. Installation Process: Mount ionization devices at designated locations within the HVAC system, ensuring secure placement. Connect ionization devices to the power supply and HVAC control system, ensuring proper wiring and grounding. Test the ionization equipment to ensure it is functioning correctly and efficiently. 5. Safety Measures: Implement safety features such as shutoff switches and alarms to monitor ionization levels and prevent over-ionization. Ensure that the installation complies with all safety standards and guidelines. 6. Airflow Optimization: Optimize the positioning and configuration of ionization devices to ensure even distribution of ions throughout the HVAC system. Verify that the ionization technology does not impede airflow or create turbulence. 7. Performance Testing: Conduct performance tests to measure the effectiveness of ionization in reducing airborne contaminants. Fine-tune the ionization system settings as needed to achieve desired air quality goals. Provide documentation of performance metrics and system operation. 8. Training and Documentation: Train building maintenance personnel on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the ionization system. Provide comprehensive documentation, including operation manuals, maintenance schedules, and safety guidelines. 9. Post-Installation Maintenance: Establish a maintenance schedule for routine inspections, cleaning, and replacement of ionization components as needed. Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting services for the ionization system. 10. Compliance and Certification: Ensure that the Ionization installation complies with relevant industry standards and regulations.
