Description

Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in West Vancouver, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work of this contract will encompass the upgrade of the pumphouse and salter intakes at the Fisheries and Oceans Canada – Pacific Science Enterprise Centre (PSEC) facility. Work under this Contract comprises general construction of: Three (3) new saltwater intakes, including but not limited to: Supply and installation of the HDPE pipe, weights, fittings, intake structures, vault, and appurtenances. Excavation for intake trenches along the foreshore, including dewatering and shoring as required, and subtidal burial as specified. Any removals or abandon-in-place of existing intakes in the footprint of the new intakes. Restoration of existing surrounding components, such as, vegetation, and shoreline landscape. Commissioning of intakes, including testing and flushing as applicable. To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost approximately between $1,000,001 to $5,000,000.
