The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) is soliciting bids for a Contractor to provide open-ended, on-call litter pick up on MD 4 (from Calvert County line to Prince Georges County line including ramps/interchanges), MD 2 (from Roundabout to Calvert County line), MD 258 (from MD 4 to MD 256), and MD 256 ( from MD 468 to MD 2) roadways under the purview of the Annapolis Maintenance Shop. Work activities include removal of trash, litter, and debris including recap, organic debris, bottles, cans, cardboard, paper, etc. This Contract is not subject to the Living Wage Law Rates. This is a non-exclusive Contract. It does not include all work expected to be performed in the designated areas. Therefore, at times, other Contractors may be performing similar work that is not associated with this Contract. The sole point of contact for purposes of this IFB is the Procurement Officer, Royston Cain. The Procurement Officer may be contacted at telephone number 410-841-1009 between 08:00 A.M. and 04:00 P.M. Monday - Friday or by FAX 410-841-5597. All questions must be submitted to the Procurement Officer, Royston Cain, no later than Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. local time. The Bid must be received by the Procurement Officer, Royston Cain, or his designee, LaKisha Brown, at the District-5 Annapolis Maintenance Shop located at 138 Defense Highway Annapolis, MD 21401 no later than 02:00 P.M. local time, on Thursday, October 31, 2024.
