The Maryland Department of Health - Laboratories Administration is seeking a vendor to provide infectious/biological waste pick-up and disposal services for the period of 6 months 10/01/2023 - 03/31/2024. All questions must be submitted by September 21, 2023, by 5:00 pm to Patrice Johnson via email - patrice.johnson@maryland.gov The Maryland Department of Health (MDH or the "Department") is issuing this solicitation in accordance with COMAR 21.05.07 to procure services to provide safe pick up and disposal of infectious/biological waste from the Laboratories Administration, located at 1770 Ashland Ave., Baltimore, MD 21205. The Contractor's disposal shall be in full compliance with all Federal, State and local laws and regulations. The purpose of this solicitation is to contract with an entity to safely pick up and dispose of approximately 100,000 U.S. dry gallons of infectious/biological waste for six (6) months from the MDH- Laboratories Administration located at 1770 Ashland Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21205. Present estimates of infectious/biological waste call for an increase in volume of approximately 10% per year each year for this Contract. The Contractor's disposal shall be in full compliance with all Federal, State and local laws and regulations.
