Reference Number 0000330704 The County of Orange, hereinafter referred to as County, seeks proposals from qualified consultants with experience in Continuing Care Communities to develop a master plan, conceptual design, and visual image of an Intergenerational Continuing Care Campus (Campus) for the existing Valley View Campus. It is expected the right candidate will have extensive experience in continuing care services design and operations. The goal is to produce a comprehensive Master Plan for a Campus that will forecast the final design and offer a clear vision of the size, scope, function, and image of the proposed project. The successful consultant will work with the Valley View Advisory Committee (Committee) to develop the Master Plan for the Intergenerational Continuing Care Campus. The Campus is intended to be a self-supporting endeavor, including various and complimentary types of services that will meet the diverse health care needs of Orange County's residents, especially its more aging residents, in the context of a financially viable business model. The Master Plan must be developed to meet the County's intention to eventually receive offers from outside developers to develop the Campus, as it is intended that the County will not fund or manage the campus: the Campus will be developed, constructed, funded, and managed by a private non-County entity.
