Hazardous material abatement and demolition of the Lafourche Parish detention center (old jail) building, pavement, and ancillary structures designated within the demolition plans. The Owner requires that each bidder attach to his bid a certified check, cashiers check, or bid bond equivalent to 5% of the total bid as evidence of good faith of the bidder. Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable on the U.S. Department of the Treasury Circular 570.
