Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Schaumburg, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 5,622-square-foot, two-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.

Renovation work will include but not limited to exterior upgrade of the existing visitors center adding new program space, kitchen, bathrooms, and all ancillary work relative thereto in strict accordance with the Park District's Specifications All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, certified check, cashier's check, or bank draft, payable to Schaumburg Park District in the amount of ten (10) percent of the total amount of the bid proposal. The successful Bidder for this project, will be required to submit a Payment Bond and a Performance Bond each in the amount of 110% of the Contract Sum, naming the Park District as the primary oblige, using an AIA-312 Form (2010 Edition) or one acceptable to the Park District, co-signed by a surety company authorized by the Illinois Department of Insurance to sell and issue sureties in the State of Illinois. Notice to proceed will be approximately November 15, 2023. Project work must be completed no later than October 18, 2024. The Board of Commissioners of the Schaumburg Park District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to accept only portions of a proposal and reject the remainder, waive any technicalities in a bid and to accept any proposal which the Park District deems favorable to the interest of the Park District. The Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/.01, et seq.) (the "Act") shall apply to the Project Work.
