Demolition, site work and addition to a religious / funeral development in Douglas, Georgia. Completed plans call for the addition of a religious / funeral development; for the demolition of a religious / funeral development; and for site work for a religious / funeral development.
Resurfacing and Expansion Improvements All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of the City of Douglas in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work: such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded a Contract, will promptly enter into a Contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bonds as provided by the law and approved by the Attorney for the City of Douglas. Performance Bond shall be equal to 100 Percent (100%) of the contract amount and Payment Bond shall be equal to 100 percent (100%) of the Contract amount. The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to the City of Douglas as liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the Contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within (10) days after being notified that he has been awarded the Contract. All work on the project must be completed within 120 consecutive calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed.
