Renovation of an educational facility in Clarksdale, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Clarksdale Municipal School District will receive sealed bids for a contract for the JW Stampley Freshman Academy Re-roof located at 301 Washington Avenue, Clarksdale, MS 38614 as indicated in the Contract Documents. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the removal of a modified bitumen roof with an aluminum coated spray foam top layer and replacement with a new PVC roofing system. This removal and replacement also includes gutters, downspouts and fascia flashing. The base bid will include roofing for the entire building, approximately 39,840 square feet. There will be a deductive alternate to remove the gymnasium/cafeteria roof (7,908 square feet) from the project. Bids will be accepted on a lump sum basis. Segregated bids will not be accepted. Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Clarksdale Municipal School District expressly reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities. Pre-Bid Meeting 09/27/2023 at 10:30 AM CT
