Easton Park - 3B.3A - Landscaping All Bids shall be accompanied by an acceptable Bid guaranty in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Bid, as specified in "Instructions To Bidders". Performance and payment bonds shall be issued in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Amount by a solvent corporate surety company authorized to do business in the State of Texas, and shall meet any other requirements established by law or by Owner pursuant to applicable law. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids (including, without limitation, any or all nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids). Minimum Wage Scale: The contract will require compliance with Texas Government Code, Chapter 2258, Subchapter B, pertaining to prevailing wage rates. In accordance with Texas Water Code 49.279, the District specifies the prevailing wage rates for public works established by Travis County, Texas as the District's prevailing wage rates. The contractor for the Project must pay not less than the specified prevailing wage rates to workers employed by it in execution of the contract. The Project consists of the following: construction of sidewalks, trails, park facilities, landscaping, and erosion controls.
