As of November 14,2023, project was awarded to Wesco Turf, Inc., awarded amount is $766,518.50. All questions must be directed to the City of Melbourne, 900 E. This project is for the complete replacement of electric panels, disconnects, and all wiring associated with the golf course irrigation system. The plan drawings include detailed scopes of work for the project construction. All work is to be done in accordance to the plans and specifications of Project No. 10621. This project is not funded by state or federal funds. The Contractor shall not subcontract more than 50% of the work based on the total contract price. Applicant may not utilize subcontractors for the role of project manager. The successful bidder must be able to show a past history of successfully completed similar golf course projects that are compliant with the applicable permits and standards. This experience must include a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and the completion of at least 3 HDPE golf irrigation system installations, and at least 5 golf course greens replacement/rehabilitation projects, with similar size and scope. Subcontractors must also be licensed as required by the State and local jurisdiction, as applicable, for the work they will be performing. Contractor, or its sub-contractor(s), shall possess and maintain during the term of this Agreement one of the following licenses and/or certifications Bids must be accompanied by a cashier's check or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the bid. Bid bonds shall be countersigned by an agent having an established place of business in the State of Florida. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 55 days after scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. Bidders must include one original and one copy of their submitted bid. The City of Melbourne, Florida, reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive technicalities and informalities.
