Site work for a mixed-use development in Baraga, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a detention facility.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: AST System Installation 500-gallon above ground storage tank (AST) for the storage on gasoline. Provide dual product dispenser that will tie together the new gasoline AST and an existing 2000-gal diesel AST. Provide leak/spill/overfill detection system, fuel level monitoring system for both tanks with an indoor monitoring panel. Associated site work including concrete pads for new AST and dispenser. Removal and replacement of existing heaved concrete pad in front of existing diesel AST. UST System Removal (AST and associated work must be completed, tested and certified before UST work begins) Preparation for underground storage tank (UST) removal, including GPR utility location Removal and disposal of existing 3000-gal gasoline UST and associated systems and piping Excavation and transport/disposal of contaminated soil if encountered. Backfilling, compaction, and site restoration ALL questions should be emailed to Greg Putman at gputman@upea.com no later than January 15th, 2025 at 12 pm.
