Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Waukegan, Illinois. Design plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The City of Waukegan (“City”) is soliciting submissions of qualifications (each, a “Responsive Submission”) from qualified engineering firms for the performance of Phase III Construction Engineering Services for the Belvidere Street Bridge Rehabilitation, Structure Number SN-049-0150, located between Sheridan Road and Pershing Road and crosses over IL 137 (Amstutz Expressway) and the Union Pacific Railroad, meeting IDOT documentation standards (“Project”). The Project is for Phase III Construction Engineering Services for the Project (“Phase III Engineering Services”). As of May 15, 2025, per owner, engineering team has been identified. The State of Illinois is taking care of the letting, slated for April 2026. The City reserves the right to reject any and all Responsive Submissions and to make an award on that Responsive Submission which, in its opinion, are most advantageous to the City.
