The Washington County Treasurer or to the contractor, drawn upon a solvent bank or a bid bond, shall be filed with each proposal in an amount as set forth in the proposal form. These certificates, when issued to contractors and sub-contractors, allow the purchase of qualifying items to be made exempt from Iowa sales tax, applicable local option sales tax, and school infrastructure local option sales tax. A Bidder Status Form website is required documentation for all contractors. Failure to submit a fully completed Bidder Status Form with the bid may result in the bid being deemed nonresponsive and rejected. Class 10 excavation shall be used to rebuild the road top.
