Renovation of an educational facility in Montreal, Quebec. Design plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Upgrades, repairs and improvements to the Strathcona building of Paul-Guérin-Lajoie-d'Outremont high school. The scope of the project includes: - Renovation of masonry; - Replacement of doors and windows; - Renovation of the roof; - Renovation of the sanitary blocks and the concierge service; - Partial replacement of the interior finish; - Renovation of the roadway; - Integration of a retention basin; - Repair of exterior lighting; - Restoration of the electrical distribution; - HVAC system upgrade; - Replacement of parts control systems; - Installation of an IP telecommunications system. TIMELINE: Preliminary planning is in a very advanced stage. Working drawings are expected to begin in late 2025/early 2026. Timelines for a tender for the general contractor and construction are being finalized. Note. The project is included in the owner's 2025-2028 construction program. According to the owner's preliminary scheduling construction start is not anticipated before mid-/late 2026.
