A timeline for award has not yet been established.** In general, the Phase 1 HVAC Improvements will consist of demolition and installation of two rooftop HVAC units. The units that are to be replaced consists of a 7.5-Ton package unit, A 40-Ton Multizone unit comprised of a rooftop AHU. Replacement of associated exterior HVAC duct, duct supports, external refrigerant piping, controls, valves, service connections, electrical wiring, hangers and supports, duct insulation, vibration and seismic controls, like-for-like wiring, breakers, circuit disconnects and testing and commissioning. Work on the Project must be performed in strict conformity with Specifications No. PW 23- 03: Phase 1 City Hall HVAC Improvements Project which is filed with the Public Works Department. Contractors bidding the project shall provide a minimum of five government agency references, preferably municipal, for building similar projects (in terms of scope, size, type, magnitude and complexity) as the prime contractor in the past five (5) years. Bidders shall include references, etc. to demonstrate qualifications. Location of the Work: The project will occur at City Hall, 350 Main Street, El Segundo, CA 90245 1-3. Working Days and Time for Completion: Contractor will commence work on date specified in the Notice to Proceed to be issued to the Contractor by City of El Segundo Public Works Department and shall complete work within Thirty (30) working days after the date of commencement.
