The Town of Balgonie is requesting proposals from qualified Pool Contractors to undertake the design and construction of a new outdoor leisure pool to be constructed at 113 King Street, Balgonie (Lot 21 Blk 1 Plan 16960). Design and construct a new 4,628 square foot leisure/lap pool with zero depth beach entry, including piping and mechanical systems. Reinforced structural pool perimeter concrete decking with drainage Water play zones and features such as a diving board, water slides, spray features, etc. Mechanical equipment and piping The budget for the entire project (including demolition, construction of the pool, construction of the Changerooms/Office Space and Pumphouse/Mechanical Room, landscaping and all other aspects of construction) is set at $2,925,283 (GST and PST not included). Project Award Date - December 12, 2023 Design work and Engineered Construction Drawings shall be completed by January 22, 2024. Commencement of Construction - May 2, 2024.
