Description

Site work and paving for a civil project in Athens, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The Project includes the following Work: CONTRACT 1: Bore & Jack 125 LF of 24 steel casing under Decatur pk. and install 12 ductile iron carrier pipe. CONTRACT 2: Installation of 3,469 ft. of water line along US 11/State Rt 2 from Decatur Pk. to Velma Rd. in Athens, TN. Line replaces existing 6 water line to be retired in place. Work includes 3,469 ft. of 8" D.I.P., 8 directional drill, asphalt paving, testing, disinfection, and the reconnection of existing services, fire lines, and hydrants. The Project has an expected duration of: CONTRACT 1: 30 days after delivery of pipe CONTRACT 2: 120 days after delivery of pipe The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit with his bid a 5% Bid Bond, No pre-bid conference will be held.
