Reference Number 0000256530 Question Acceptance Deadline 2023/10/06 12:00:00 AM CDT Duration: 2 years Option: 1 Year Manitoba is looking for submissions to Supply, Deliver and Construct Dock floats in seven (7) identified regions as set out in Appendix E - Geographical Locations. Requirements may include but not limited to: a) Supply. Delivery and Constructing of Floating Dock sections using: i) pressure treated 2"x6" lumber for decking ii) decking to be secured to 2"x4" pressure treated studs evenly spaced at 2' centres on galvanized frame using 3" screws iii) pressure treated 2"x8" lumber attached to underside of galvanized frame supports for floats iv) Galvanized frame and brackets v) Minimum Two 4'x4' plastic floats per 8' dock station (or as appropriate based upon floatation capacity) vi) 10" cleats (minimum 4 per dock section) vii) Including Gangway, Ramp, Anchors and chains. b) Supply and Delivery of Dock Floats as per specifications provided below: i) Floatation capacity: 550 lbs (or better) ii) Size: As per Appendix D Material: Linear Virgin Polyethylene Resin with UV Ray Inhibitors and Shell, with EPS Solid Void-Free Foam Fill iv) Wall Thickness: 1/4" up to 5/16" at fastening points making it resistant to splits and punctures v) Minimum 4 easy to get at locations to attach the float to stringers. vi) Including all connecting galvanized hardware Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
