Elmira High School Sport Infield Mix and Sod Installation The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids, s, to waive any information, and to hold all bids for 60 days subsequent to the date of opening for examination. 1. Provide and install infield clay as shown. Infield mix shall be Duraedge Classic with 4" of infield mix at all locations identified on plan and per Duradege standard installation details. 2. Provide and install pitchers mound per Duraedge standard installation details. Pitchers mound should include mound clay, clay bricks, pitchers rubber (Schutt SHBBPB 4 sided pitching rubber) and Proslide Professional Red topdressing per Duraedge standard installation details. Mound Shall be constructed per NYSHSPAA requirements. 3. Provide and install all bases. Home plate to be Beacon Athletics Bulldog Double-sided home plate. Other bases shall be embossed UV-resistant white molded pro-style bases with rust resistant powdercoated, triple reinforced steel anchor system with ground sleeves and plugs. 4. Provide and install batters box/catcher area clay bricks around Homeplate per Duraedge standard detail. 5. Provide and install warning track material. Warning track material shall be crushed limestone. Crushed limestone shall be installed 4" thick at the width shown. After installation, roll with 3 ton vibratory roller to ensure maximum compaction 6. Provide and install Kentucky Blue Grass sod as shown on plans. Contractor shall fertilize with Sea Blend 12-4-5 starter fertilizer at 8lbs/1000 prior to laying sod and 5.5lbs/1000 of Excelis Maxx topically to the sod after installation. Fertilizer can be purchased from Preferred Seed.
