The scope of work includes all necessary permits, labor, materials, and equipment required to complete the Fire Protection scope. The work involves the installation, modification, removal, and reinstallation of the Fire Protection system at the specified project location. The Fire Protection work will be carried out in compliance with local, state, and federal codes and regulations. as described in the drawings and specifications. We would like the newly installed piping to be painted red with in the office and conference room areas. The run for the sprinkler main outside the office area can remain unpainted. The contractor will also provide accurate as-built drawings and Maintenance and operation Manuals upon completion of the work. The as-built drawings should reflect the final installed Fire Protection system and any modifications made during the project. Maintenance and Operation manuals at substantial completion for all new equipment, including operating and maintenance data, submittals, warranties, diagrams, inspection reports, and valve lists. Submit the maintenance manuals in a 3-ring binder or on a DVD format. Provide the owner with two copies of the maintenance manuals. All work on this Contract is to be completed within 60 days after the date of the Notice to Proceed The selected contractor must comply with M/WBE goals. State University of New York goals are: 0% MBE and 0% WBE participation of the total contract value. State University of New York also has a goal for the Work Force participation: EEO 10% WBE and EEO 10% MBE of total work force on the project.
