Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in New Brighton, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Sealed proposals for furnishing of the necessary labor, materials, and equipment for the reconditioning of approximately 2.29 miles of streets by the milling and overlaying of the existing bituminous surfacing, pavement marking, and ADA pedestrian curb ramp improvements which includes approximately: 45,500 SY Mill Bituminous Pavement 22 TON Bituminous Patching Mixture 4,300 TON Bituminous Wear Mixture 400 SF 4 Concrete Walk 900 SF Concrete Walk 1 LS Traffic Control 17,700 LF Pavement Marking Plus miscellaneous and incidental work Sealed proposals for furnishing of the necessary labor, materials, and equipment for the reconditioning of approximately 2.29 miles of streets by the milling and overlaying of the existing bituminous surfacing, pavement marking, and ADA pedestrian curb ramp improvements which includes Each proposal shall be accompanied by a Non-Collusion Affidavit; a Responsible Contractor Certificate; an Equal Employment Opportunity Certification; and a certified check or bid bond made payable to the City of New Brighton in the amount of 5% of the bid as a guarantee that such bidder will enter into a contract with said City, in accordance with the terms of such letting and bid in case such bidder be awarded a contract. The right is reserved to accept any bid, or to reject any or all bids. This work shall consist of the application of bituminous material (emulsion or liquid asphalt) on a bituminous or concrete pavement prior to paving a new lift of Hot Mixed Asphalt. Alteration of the Work -- The City of New Brighton reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity of the work originally contemplated in the contract. Regardless of the final scope of the contract, payment to the contractor will be made on the basis of unit prices as stated in the proposal. Maintenance of Traffic -- At all dangerous sections, by-passes, and intersecting roads, the contractor shall, at his own expense, furnish, erect and maintain such warning barricades as are necessary and required by the Engineer, and he shall place and maintain adequate "Flasher Lites" at each barricade. It shall be the contractor's responsibility to make checks and inspection of all lights and barricades, including Sundays and holidays. He shall maintain the streets in a passable condition, shall conduct his work to create a minimum amount of inconvenience to traffic and shall furnish flag persons at those locations where the operation of construction equipment endangers traffic. This project consists of the reconditioning of approximately 2.29 miles of streets by the milling and overlaying of the existing bituminous surfacing, pavement marking, and ADA pedestrian curb ramp improvements.
