**As of October 31, 2023, Project has been awarded. Award amount is $467,112.86** FY 2022 Safe Street to Transit, Pearl Street and New Street Improvements project. The Project consists of construction of concrete vertical curbing, concrete sidewalk and paver sidewalk, the installation of new detectable warning surfaces, the repair of concrete driveways where required, relocation and or installation of inlets and storm sewer pipe if required at the intersection of New and Pearl Street, the installation of new solar-powered stop signs, traffic markings, and the installation of rectangular rapid flashing beacons. All work on this contract must be completed within 75 calendar days from issuance of a Notice to Proceed. bid bond or a certified check drawn to the order of Form of Govt of [Municipality] for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, except that the check shall not exceed $20,000.00. The successful bidder is hereby notified that a performance bond and labor and material (payment) bond for the full amount of this project is required. The right is also reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities where such informality is not detrimental to the best interest of the Owner, except as to those items which are deemed mandatory and non-waivable set forth in N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23.2.
