Renovation of an educational facility in Jackson, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
MWCTC-J-HVAC Modernization and Boiler Replacement Project Scope: The basis of this project is to replace existing steam boilers from the original 1964 building with 1966 additions with new high efficiency condensing boilers. The steam boiler plant has reached its end of its useful life and has become difficult and expensive to maintain. The steam boiler plant server multiple systems throughout the existing buildings including a hot deck/cold deck unit, unit heaters, air handling units, blower coils and zone radiation. Replacing the steam boiler plant will require retrofitting and replacement of these existing systems utilizing steam with hot water. This project will reduce the existing plant maintenance and efficiency. In addition to the boiler work there is a replacement of a hot/cold deck multizone unit, unit vent/blower coils and roof top unit.
