The Town of Mount Pleasant is seeking informal bids from interested and qualified Bidders for painting services for traffic signal poles, mast arms, and decorative bases at two (2) locations within the Town of Mount Pleasant. The intersection of US17 and Park West Boulevard South Morgans Point Road and the intersection of Coleman Boulevard and Pelzer/Shrimp Boat Lane. Deadline to submit Questions: Oct 2nd 2023, 12:00 PM EDT All work shall be completed within sixty (60) calendar days. The project will include, but is not limited to, cleaning, preparing, and applying primer, and paint on the steel portions of the structure. All in accordance with the scope of work set forth within this solicitation document. The Town of Mount Pleasant has elected to pursue a contract for painting services for traffic signal poles, mast arms, and decorative bases at two locations within the Town: 1) Intersection of US-17 and Park West Boulevard / South Morgan Point Road, 2) Intersection of Coleman Boulevard and Pelzer Drive / Shrimp Boat Lane. Also, included in the scope of work are painting services of the pedestrian poles, bases, and appurtenances. The work shall consist of cleaning, preparing, and applying primer, and paint on the steel portions of the structure. The poles, mast arms and bases are to be painted to the specification and special provision provided. Any work to be performed that would require lane closures shall be accomplished at night per the provided traffic control plans and in compliance with any specifications as detailed in the SCDOT Encroachment Permit. The construction time for this projectshall be sixty (60) calendar daysfrom the commencement date in the Notice to Proceed.
