Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in El Paso, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a 20,000-square-foot municipal facility; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Construction of the Paseo del Este MUD Burnett Maintenance Facility to include the building, site work, paving, etc. as shown in the plans and specifications. The deadline to ask questions is 6/19/2025 10:00 AM MST BID SECURITY in the amount of five (5%) of the maximum bid is required in the form of Bid Bond. The project shall be substantially complete within 240 calendar days after written notice to proceed, whichever is greater. The owner reserves the right to accept any of the bids submitted or to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities in the bids and in the bidding. This item shall provide for the furnishing and placing of bar reinforcing steel or wire fabric of the size and quantity designated for use in structures and other items that require reinforcing steel, as shown on the plans and in accordance with these specifications. This item shall govern for the furnishing and placing of all expansion joint material as herein specified in the various items of these specifications, or as shown on the plans, or as directed by the Architect. A. Work covered by this Division shall consist of furnishing all labor, equipment, supplies and materials and in performing all operations necessary for the installation of complete and operating mechanical systems as required by these specifications and/or shown on the drawings, subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. The work shall also include the completion of such mechanical and electrical details not mentioned or shown which are necessary for the successful operation of all systems described on the drawings or required by these specifications; this includes the furnishing all materials for the filling the systems to make them operable, including water, refrigerant, oil and grease. Prove satisfactory operation of all equipment and controls to the Engineer on request. B. Work not included - Certain labor, material and equipment may be furnished and/or installed under other divisions of these specifications. This Contractor shall coordinate with other trades and arrange his work to make the parts fit together. The following items are to be accomplished under other divisions of these specifications: 1. Temporary Heat: Refer to paragraph in this Section. 2. Temporary Water and Toilet: Refer to General Conditions. 3. Electrical Equipment and Wiring: Refer to paragraph in this Section. 4. Concrete: Refer to paragraph in this Section. C. Equipment Furnished by Owner - Rough-in services pipes to locations as required by architectural and mechanical drawings and equipment shop drawings. Provide service valves on all pipes except waste and vent pipes. Plug and cap all waste and vent pipes. Final Connection to equipment will be made by this Contractor. A. The Crushed Stone Base (CSB) course should be moisture conditioned and compacted to a minimum of 100 percent of the maximum dry density as determined by ASTM D-1557, for the full depth of the course and within plus or minus 2 percent of optimum moisture content as determined by ASTM D-1557 laboratory compaction procedures. The flexible base course should comply with item 247, Type A, Grade 3 in accordance with the Texas Department of Transportation 1995 Standard Specifications for Construction of Highways, Streets, and Bridges. The Contractor shall provide all necessary materials, machinery, tools, labor, and equipment necessary to complete the flexible base course of the strength, thickness and compaction as shown on the plans and as specified herein. This item shall also include loosening and shaping of existing material, removal and replacement of unacceptable base, and all mixing and compacting water. All sprinkling and rolling will be considered subsidiary to this item. When subgrade is constructed under this project, correction of soft spots in the subgrade will be at the Contractor's expense. . Asphaltic concrete paving (hot mix) includes the preparation of the paving base, the prime coat, the tack coat and one or more layers of asphaltic concrete material. The materials shall be applied to the lines, grades and compacted thicknesses shown on the drawings and as herein specified. Our soil study conducted at the proposed Bill Burnett Section I consisted of field explorations at the site, laboratory tests on soil samples collected from the field and earthwork recommendations for the development of the new commercial subdivision.
