Site work for a water / sewer project in Longview, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Scope Approximately 6,500 L.F. 8 potable water main replacement through subdivided residential neighborhoods (six locations) Water System Improvements Duncan Street, Lawrence Drive, Wilbert Street, Swinging Bridge Road, Coleman Drive, Paul Street, Port Street, Vinewood Lane, Kent Street, Elgin Street a surety company approved by the Owner, in the amount of 5% of the base bid. Such cash, checks or bid bonds will be returned to all except the three lowest Bidders Time of completion shall be 180 calendar days, including Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays. Time of Completion and Liquidated Damages. Bidder must agree to commence work within 10 days after the date to be specified in a written by the Owner and to fully complete the project within the time stated in the Proposal. The bidder must agree to pay, as liquidated damages, the sum of $520.00 for each consecutive calendar day thereafter as hereinafter provided for in the General Conditions.
