Renovation of a municipal facility in St. John's, Newfoundland. Completed plans call for the renovation of an office development.
Closing Time: 2:30 PM (NT) Question Acceptance Deadline Oct 05, 2023 02:30 PM NDT Scope of Work/Overview: 1. Remove dead legs from the domestic water system where indicated and re-insulate affected areas. 2. Insulate or repair insulation on various sections of domestic water piping where indicated. Provided jacketing to match existing where piping is exposed. 3. Extend and provide new hot water recirculation loops where indicated. 4. Install thermostatic balancing valves on hot water recirculation loops to allow proper temperature to be maintained in the domestic hot water system. 5. Revise the domestic water entrance with new meter and backflow preventers for both potable and non-potable water. 6. Provide a hypochlorite dosing system composed of a metering pump, solution tank, and accessories connected to the water entrance to allow shock dosing of the domestic water system when required. 7. Label existing domestic water piping in building. 8. Provide new hot water tank capable of rising domestic hot water temperature up to 75°C. Provide discharge water temperature sensor tied to existing EMCS for temperature monitoring. 9. Replace existing domestic hot water recirculation pump with new and pump run status tied to existing EMCS.
