The City of Kirkwood is Requesting Sealed Bids for the Park 1 Pump Station for the City's Water Department, in Accordance With the Specifications Contained Herein. The work consists of demolition and replacement of the Park 1 Pump Station building located in Kirkwood Park. All necessary service transfers, hydrants, valves, and appurtenances are included. Contractor Shall Procure and Maintain a Performance and Payment Bond for The Benefit of the City of Kirkwood (city) as Required by the Laws of the State of Missouri And in an Amount Not Less Than 100 Percent of the Aggregate Amount of the Contract. The Successful Bidder Agrees That, Upon Completion of the Proposal and Upon the Issuance of a Notice to Proceed, the Work Shall Be Completed Within 200 Calendar Days From the Date of the Notice to Proceed, and That Should the Contractor Fail to Complete the Work in the Time Specified or Such Additional Time as May Be Allowed by the Water Superintendent Under the Contract, the Amount of Liquidated Damages to Be Recovered Shall Be Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250) Per Calendar Day. All questions regarding this bid shall be submitted in IonWave by close of business day on March 7, 2025.
