The Waco Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is seeking consultants to develop a Comprehensive Safety Action Plan (CSAP) through its successful award under the Safe Streets for All (SS4A Grant Program). The CSAP will include planned projects for MPO member governments to provide a path to Vision Zero by proactively identifying and addressing potential safety hazards, enhancing the overall safety of the mobility space, and ultimately reducing fatalities, injuries, and crashes. Given the availability of funds awarded to the Waco MPO through the SS4A Grant Program, the MPO desires to have a CSAP in place by May 31, 2024 so that applications for future SS4A implementation grants may be submitted for funding as early as June 2024. The City of Waco reserves the right to reject any and all submittals.
