Work of this Construction Contract comprises but not limited to the construction of improvements to the existing Industrial lift station. Existing building will be demolished and the existing force main will be abandoned and filled with flowable fill. The lift station pumps, and piping will be removed and replaced, and a new 6" HOPE force main will be relocated and installed in public right-of-way to the discharge manhole. The work to be performed consists of furnishing and installing the equipment, facilities, services, and appurtenances indicated in the Contract Documents. The location of the work is Approximately 1950 West Industrial Circle, adjacent to Hyko Supply. ALL CONTRACTORS are invited to attend to obtain relevant information concerning the project. Guidelines for bidding will be explained and questions pertinent to the contract, bonds, insurance requirements, project manual specifications and drawings will be discussed. The Bid Security amount must equal five (5%) percent of the total amount of the Bid. A PDF of Bid Security should be included in the bid documents. Bids utilizing cashier's checks or cash equivalent may not be submitted electronically. Unsuccessful Bidder's Bid Security will be shredded and disposed of after forty-five (45) business days after award reading and approval of the awarded Construction Contract.
