The project is located at Airport Hangar 15 with some work required to take place in Airport Hangar 13. Both hangars are located in the northeast complex at 495 S. Fairview Avenue, Santa Barbara, CA 93107 are within the Santa Barbara Airport Property. The original source of power, the substation within the hangar, was damaged in 2019, so Hangar 15 is currently fed power from the adjacent hangar, Hangar 13, currently leased to FedEx. The project objective is to replace the temporary power supply with a permanent 480V feeder cable and a rigid conduit pathway. The awarded contractor shall provide all bonds, insurance, labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to reestablish the power source of Hangar 15 currently leased to Coastal Airport Maintenance.
