The project includes demolition of damaged steel and concrete at the existing loadout hoppers at the Montgomery County Solid Waste Transfer & Recycling Facility in Moraine, Ohio. The project will be completed in three stages with one loadout hopper closed at a time while the other two hoppers remain open and active for use. The Successful Bidder, who, as a Bid Guaranty, submits a certified check, cashier's check, or irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to 10% of the Bid, shall furnish a Performance/Payment Bond in the form of the Performance/Payment Bond included in Specification Section 00512 in the Contract Documents in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Sum. All questions must be submitted in writing by 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 18, 2024. By signing the Bid Form, Bidder certifies that Bidder acknowledges and accepts the preceding criteria as conditions of Bid acceptance. In submitting a Bid, the undersigned agrees to execute the Owner Contractor Agreement in the form included in the Contract Documents and to Substantially Complete the Work as required by the Contract Documents. The County Commissioners reserve the rights defined in the Instructions to Bidders, including, but not limited to the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any irregularities of Bids, should same be to the advantage of the County.
