Renovation of a municipal facility in Hastings, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Hastings is soliciting proposals from qualified Contractors to replace the roofing over the Parks Department Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, drawn on a solvent bank in the State of Nebraska, or a bid bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid of all contract construction costs, made payable to the City Treasurer of the City of Hastings, Nebraska, as security that the bidder to whom the contract may be awarded will enter into a contract to build all the improvements in accordance with this notice and give bond in the sum hereinafter provided for the construction of improvements. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in the sum of the full amount of the Contract within ten (10) days of the date of award. No additional time will be allowed the Contractor for providing the Performance Bond. The Contractor shall furnish a performance bond with a company having the approval of the City in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price guaranteeing complete and faithful performance of the contract, payment of all bills of whatever nature which could become a lien against the property the City of Hastings reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and may waive any informalities and may accept the proposal which best suits its needs.
