Site work, new construction and remodeling of a mixed-use development in Toronto, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a multi-residential development; for the remodel of a municipal facility; parking garage; and retail development.
Potential development of the Black Creek Pioneer Village parking lot located at the north-west corner of Shoreham Drive and Murray Ross Parkway. The intent is to develop the existing parking lot site and visitor centre, integrating redevelopment into the fabric of a revitalized adn reimagined museum, particularly a new or updated Visitor Centre and Museum. This development could also provide a greater mix of public and private amenities to the surrounding community. Black Creek Pioneer Village and the TRCA new head office. In addition to considering a new or renovated Visitor Centre and museum, the TRCA would ask proponents to consider the following potential usees for the site; High rise and mid rise residential; student housing; affordable housing, retail space, community space, institutional/educational space and employment space. TIMELINE: The architect has completed concept plans to support a feasibility analysis as completed by CreateTO. Future planning applications will be followed at such time that they are submitted.
