Renovation of a municipal facility in Moosic, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Bids can be submitted to Moosic Borough Building, 715 Main Street, Moosic, PA 18507 between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. Bids are invited for the following contract: Moosic Borough Youth Center Roof Replacement The proposed renovations to Moosic Borough Youth Center: Remove existing EPDM roof and install new EPDM roof. Remove the existing shingled roofing and replace with new shingled roofing. Provide new rain gutters and downspouts. Prospective bidders are urged to familiarize themselves with the site and review the scope of work and construction documents. Any Contractor who does not do so and submits a bid, does so at their own risk. BID SECURITY in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond for 100% of their bid amount and a Labor and Material Payment Bond for 100% of their bid amount within 15 days of the contract being awarded. This project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. The project is funded by a grant from the Local Share Account (LSA) Program Grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Commonwealth Financing Authority and all requirements of this Authority are to be met by the Bidders. The successful bid will be required to submit Non-Discrimination /Sexual Harassment Clause which is contained in the Contract Documents. The Moosic Borough does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, disability of familial status in employment of the provision of service. The Moosic Borough is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. The Moosic Borough reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive informalities in the bidding. BIDS may be held by the Moosic Borough for a period not to exceed Sixty (60) days from the date of the Opening of the Bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids, prior to awarding the Contract. In this period of time, no Bidder may withdraw their Bid. **Only PLANHOLDERS that are on file at the OFFICE OF THE ENGINEER shall be considered responsible bidders.
