he City of Shavano Park, Texas is inviting qualified firms to submit statement of qualifications (SOQs) for professional on call engineering services. The required professional services are for engineering services (design, bid and construction phase services) as described in Section III of this RFQ. The City intends to award up to three (3) contracts as a result of this RFQ; however, the final number of awarded contracts will be determined by the number of SOQs received and the outcome of evaluation process. The base contract term shall be an initial period of three (3) years. At the City's option, this Contract may be renewed annually under the same terms and conditions for up to two (2), one (1) year period(s). It is anticipated that the selection of firm(s) will be completed on October 23, 2023. The City reserves the right to retain all SOQs submitted. The City operates under applicable public disclosure laws. Proprietary information must be identified and will be protected to the extent that is legally possible. The city reserves the right to reject any or all SOQs submitted, including for technicalities and irregularities, and accept any SOQ if such action is believed to be in the best interest of the city. Submission of a SOQ indicates acceptance by the individual of the conditions contained in the RFQ, unless clearly and specifically noted in the SOQ submitted and confirmed in the contract between the City and the respondent.
