It shall also be the responsibility of the General Contractor to assure that all subcontractors comply with this law. Contractors must be licensed in the proper category of work. If required for bidding, Contractors must hold an active license issued by the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors in the classification of "Building Construction" and must show their license number on the face of the bid envelope and the Uniform Public Works Bid Form. Project Description: Work of the Project includes the renovation of an existing concession building at 10501 Lovett Road, Central, Louisiana, 70818. Installation of a retrofitted shipping container (sea-can) on new concrete slab to provide lounge and supply space and accessed by new concrete paving. Construction materials and systems include, but are not limited to, split face concrete masonry units, metal roofing, aluminum windows, steel doors, insulation, gyp board wall and ceiling finishes, concrete flooring, painting, miscellaneous specialties, lighting, power, HVAC and plumbing.
