Renovation of an educational facility in Blacksburg, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project is generally described as the replacement of the existing welding exhaust system, makeup air unit and general exhaust fans for the space. The demolition portion of the Work includes, but is not limited to, demolition of the existing welding exhaust fans, welding exhaust ductwork, general fans and makeup air unit. The new portion of the Work includes, but is not limited to, installation of new makeup air unit, a general exhaust fan, a new welding exhaust filtration unit, welding exhaust duct, welding snorkels, a concrete pad with screen wall, and the electrical work associated with new equipment. The cutoff date for pre-bid questions will be 2:00 P.M., Thursday, October 12, 2023..
