Description

Renovation of an educational facility in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a five-story above grade educational facility.

This project was cancelled. A timeline for the rebid is not yet available. The successful Respondent (Contractor) will provide renovations of the Gimbel Building Floors 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7. Renovations will consist of upgrading architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and data infrastructure as necessary. The renovation of Floors 3 and 5 will include creating pathways to support new bridge and pathway connections that are required in preparation of the demolition of adjacent buildings. Field investigation and documentation is anticipated during the Pre-Construction Phase. Coordination with project teams working on adjacent facilities will be necessary for the success of this Project.
