PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This Bid Pack No. 1 consists of sitework, excavations, footings, and foundations for future STEM laboratory additions to Central High School and West Senior High School. Building Additions will be addressed in a separate bid package. BID SECURITY: Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of Base Bid(s) shall accompany each Proposal (refer to Section 00 4313) PERFORMANCE BOND AND PAYMENT BOND: All Contractors bidding on Work in excess of $50,000.00 must be bondable and must include in their Proposal the cost for furnishing a Performance Bond and Payment Bond listing Traverse City Area Public Schools as Obligee (refer to Section 00 6100). CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATION STATEMENT: A current Contractor Qualification Statement must be on file with Miller-Davis Company to be Awarded a Contract. All Bids submitted shall remain valid for a period of sixty (60) consecutive calendar days after the Bid Date.
